Nowhere

By J.D. Moss

I’m traveling a road to nowhere

‘cause nowhere I’ve been

‘cause nowhere I can win.

A nobody going to nowhere.

A nobody who doesn’t care.

A nobody who knows no one.

A nobody who isn’t someone.

I’m looking for a place with peace in mind.

A place where I can sit and unwind.

A quiet place where night rules day.

A quiet place where June is May.

Nowhere there’s no death or hell.

Nowhere there’s no taste or smell.

Nowhere there’s no hate or love.

Nowhere there’s no push or shove.

Nowhere there’s no hurt or pain.

Nowhere there’s no glory or shame.

Nowhere there’s no sex or sin.

Nowhere there’s no lose or win.

I’m traveling a road to nowhere

‘cause nowhere I’ve been

‘cause nowhere I can win.
